Now I need to know what happens next!

Nanette Mack

And quickly, sir. :)

GAAAAAAAH!! What happens?!!??!

I actually ducked back down myself when Big Red ducked back down, lol.

Patty Presta (used to be Schaller)

I have been waiting soooo long for this! The Tarot books did nothing for me. I've missed the boys (who by now must be on Medicare), Eight months? Arghhhhhh.

Can I get a recorded copy Double A

Greg Daniel

Woo hoo! 'Nuff said! But not 'nuff writ. Git 'er done.

Kay Kazlowski

I'm hooked. More please!

Jessica Claypole

I'm DYING to read the rest of this. And curious to compare all of the character names in this book to the contest you ran earlier this year!! If you have a need for Beta Readers, I volunteer as tribute!

Thanks for the thumbs ups, everybody! I took a break from writing The Double-A Western Detective Agency to promote Give the Devil His Due, but I'm pretty much done with the marketing stuff now. So as of tomorrow I'll be back in the saddle with Big Red and Old Red. I'm hoping the first draft'll be done in September. We'll see!

I'm not sure if there'll be an audiobook for The Double-A or not, Mary. It depends on what kind of deal I can strike with a narrator. (Recording an audiobook is time consuming and expensive, alas.) I'd like to make something work out, as I know a lot of Holmes on the Range fans are addicted to the audiobooks. First things first, though: I've gotta finish writing the dang thing!

Yes!!! More!!!

I can’t wait, I own every one of this series and re-read them from time to time. Steve is my favorite author on a book series

Thanks for the support, Bob -- and sorry to make you wait so long for a new book!
