I can't afford an advertising campaign. I can't afford focus groups. I can't afford a publicist. About all I can afford, when it comes to marketing, is standing in the middle of the street and throwing my books at strangers. Which actually gets expensive once the legal fees start rolling in.
Fortunately, there's Easypolls.net, which is either a fantastic free marketing tool or an insidious scam designed to wreck your website and steal every cent you have in the bank. I guess I'll find out which tomorrow, because I signed up for it tonight.
What exactly did I sign up for? Polls, baby! Easy polls!
Below are three questions I've been dying to ask you. ("You" being the visitors to my website who will stick around long enough to actually read this post. You know. You.) Your answers might determine what projects I commit to down the road. Or they might be totally ignored. Don't tell me what I don't want to hear, people!
Hmm...that doesn't seem very inspiring. I should probably try that again.
This is your chance, friends -- let your voices be heard! Just don't say anything stupid!
Damn -- screwed it up again.
This democracy business is tougher than it looks....
